Currently retailing at £649 on the John Lewis website in colour RED 201 – this one was sold as ‘Cranberry’ colour but looks exactly the same.
I bought this in May 2023 as an emergency purchase and it’s only been used to sleep on a couple of times, in a spare room. Which means we’ve hardly used it and it’s not been sat on much at all. It looks brand new. I’m selling as we’ve now purchased a bed for that room.
HOWEVER, in the haste, 3 of the 5 wooden feet were screwed in with the protective plastic cover still on. That makes them less sturdy than they should be so this is the reason for the very low price. You can’t tell once you’re sitting on it and there are another 2 metal legs which come out when you use as a bed, which makes it perfectly sturdy to sleep on.

When assembled as a sofa the seats are supported by flexible webbing, the same as traditional sofas. This webbing provides great support to the foam and fibre filled cushions, which also benefit from individual pocket springs in the seats. These springs mould to your body when your sitting or lying on them, but then recover back to their original shape when you get up.
Using a 2-fold mechanism it then easily opens up into the bed. This combination of webbing, springs, foam and fibre means it’s not a case of either a comfortable sofa or a comfortable bed. You get both.
